Arradon attemps to retract his dagger from the creature's bark-like skin and finds that it is wedged firm. Using all of his strength and grunting with effort he manages to dislodge it. The lumbering creature evidently felt it, as it swats him away like a fly. The forces knocks him back a pace and he loses any chance of a counter attack.

The Sisters' Grove

As Autumn moves away from the tiny fey buzzing over her shoulder the small blade wielded by the creature whips out and scores a shallow cut. It is hardly even a cut but a bead of bright red blood wells up.

The flaming hands spell Autumn casts catches both atomie’s. One is severely burned, the second not quite as badly. Autumn's flaming sphere continues to sit in the same area as the dark fey but the flames don't seem to be burning the creature. A few seconds avoiding damage Autumn could understand; she's seen the like before, but this might be something more...

The creature cackles when Arradon isn't able to press the attack.

GM: Round Two Continuing: Rak'tan, Levanna, Zinnelis to go.

The Sister’s Grove

Zinnelis squinted against the swirl of ash and dust as he heard the call of the dark fey creature, understanding the Sylvan it spoke. He darted to the side to get a clear line of sight on the creature again, launching another cold iron arrow, this time from closer, allowing him to target better.

He saw Rak’Tan get hit by fey magics from a small fey creature and start to shrink, and Autumn get attacked by a similar creature.

“Autumn, do you need assistance?” Zinn called as he pulled another arrow.

After a few more moments of seeing the creature standing in the fire of the flaming sphere unscathed, Autumn realizes that the dark fey has resistance to either fire or magics or both. Zinnelis' arrow streaks past the dark fey to lodge in a tree on the other side of the grove. And while the elf hasn't heard much about the form of gremlins near him, he has heard somewhat of atomies.

[sblock=K (nature) DC 16 (Atomie)]Atomie's are minor fey, quite quick and dangerous only when they manage to sneak up on someone or use their shrinking magics on someone. The group has seen them appear from invisibility. They have a natural fey invulnerability that is pierced by cold iron.[/sblock]
