Lunge feat question

Minosis

First Post
If you use the Lunge feat to attack a foe at 10 feet and on the first attack you kill them can you then use your iterative at 5 feet?

If the answer is yes could you use the same effect to cleave to foes one at 10 feet and one at 5?

Last question in this line, could you use Lunge and Whirlwind Strike to attack all foes at 5 and 10 feet?

Thanks

Yes: lunge just gives you the option to add 5' to your reach at a cost of -2 to AC. Note that once you have made one lunge attack (and that could be your 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc iterative attack) you take the -2 til your next turn. So:

Yes. And you could attack a foe at 5' then use your 2nd attack to attack at 10', with your -2AC applying from that point on.

Yes, it just gives you +5' for the AC cost (an awesome must have feat IMO)

Last question in this line, could you use Lunge and Whirlwind Strike to attack all foes at 5 and 10 feet?Yes it just 'increases the reach of your melee attacks (by 5 feet) until the end of your turn' so whirlwind strike = melee attack therefore whirlwind everybody within 10 feet!
