Magical Darkness

Okay I've been looking all over the place for how magical light and darkness interact with each other in 4e and can't seem to find it. At this point it's probably right in front of me but I've been looking so much I can't see it

Under 3.0/3.5 normal lights are incapable of brightening the area, as are light spells of lower level. You needed a higher level light spells to affect it. How does it work under 4e?

Nope. Magical darkness does exactly what it states in the description of the power. If it doesn't give a method of getting rid of it, then you can't short of some other power (like Dispel Magic).

Just keep in mind that there are errated rules for darkness/invisibility/etc. that greatly impact fighting without vision (i.e. it's not as screwed up as in the original rules).

As far as i know nothing breaks magical darkness unless a power says it..

Although, letting a player do a hard difficulty p42 stunt to get rid of magical darkness is very cinematic.
