Make your opinions heard about video game censorship

OK, so time to take a quick break and post about srs business... this is a site I discovered recently that you can sign up for to become part of the Video Game Voters Network, which speaks up on behalf of games and gamers in legislation. It does stuff like countering the push targeting video games as violent/morally corrupt, trying to keep the government from regulating games any differently than TV or movies or music. So I think it's pretty important... even if all you do is sign up and never think about it again, you'll be one of the many voices, and each extra person joining will count!

I'd like to support video game freedom, sure, but I hate joining mailing lists. I think I'll contact my congressmen and such on my own.

Yeah, I don't really like mailing lists either. I only joined when I found out that you can turn off the "receive updates etc." option! But I like that I'm one of the many people there... if everyone joined, even if not everyone followed all the updates or did all the events, just the numbers alone can make a difference.
