Manyshot & Rapid Shot

So let's say I have a 16th-level Fighter. This fighter is an elf, and she has through magic and experience got a Dex score of 24, which gives her a +7. We'll say she's using a +5 bow, and has Greater Weapon Specialisation. This makes her attack bonus +30/+25/+20/+15 with her bow. With me so far?
Now, let's assume she has Rapid Shot, giving her an extra attack if she takes a -2 penalty on all attacks. When she uses Rapid Shot, she has an attack bonus of +28/+23/+18/+13/+28. Now, if she also has Manyshot, she gets even more attacks. Assuming I have the maths right, she gets four arrows per attack at 16th level, all with a -4 penalty. So this means she can attack sixteen times in a round, at +26/+26/+26/+26/+21/+21/+21/+21/+16/+16/+16/+16/+11/+11/+11/+11. That's without using Rapid Shot. If she uses both feats at once, she has
+24/+24/+24/+24/+19/+19/+19/+19/+14/+14/+14/+14/+9/+9/+9/+9/+24/+24/+24/+24. That's twenty freakin' attacks in a single round. Leaving aside the numbers - take away or reduce the bonus of her bow, or even her Dex bonus, she gets twenty attacks every round. At that level not all of them are gonna hit, but even so! My question, then, is simple.
Can this really be right?
Please tell me I've done the maths wrong. Does this hypothetical fighter really get twenty attack rolls in one round? I worked it out - if we make her bow a shocking burst weapon, with twenty attacks, all critical hits, her maximum damage is 1200 points, and that's without applying her Strength bonus.
Can this REALLY be right? I mean, Blimey! Someone could get seriously hurt!

You're wrong.

Rapid Shot gives you an additional attack during a Full Attack action, which is a full-round action.

Manyshot is a standard action all on its own.

The two cannot be combined.

Even if you could combine Manyshot with Rapid Shot, your math is still way off because the extra arrows from Manyshot are based off your Base Attack Bonus which would not include any modifiers from Dexterity or feats. It's also explicitly noted in the text for Manyshot that it caps at four arrows at +16 BAB.

P.S. Weapon Specialization provides a +2 bonus to damage and not attack. However, your numbers are only off by 1 because the prerequisite of Weapon Focus gives a +1 bonus to attack rolls with the chosen weapon. It still does not change your base attack bonus.

I think you misunderstand how he's calculating 20 arrows.

He's only getting four arrows from each Manyshot... but he's assuming that Manyshot applies on every iterative attack in a Full Attack action. So instead of shooting one arrow four times, he's shooting four arrows four times... or four arrows five times, with Rapid Shot.

Which isn't, of course, how the feat works.

What you really need to realize is, that while an attack is a standard action, a standard action it not an attack.
