Just a note from reality. The lee sides of mountians are always deserts. So if your continant map follows earth cartography (up north east to west spin) then the right side of the huge mountain range is parched not forested.

Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking about lopping off the southern part of the western range anyway somewhere about New Mill. That shoud take care of that one.

As for the eastern range, its a bit trickier since I need a geographic divider between the two nations. I could probably get away with it by saying that it is a fairly LOW range and the land to the east of it is a lot like the US's eastern seaboard beyond the Appalachian Mtns. Other than that, I'm not going to sweat it.

And again - those settlement maps are very nice. They're 'light'-colored, and thus easy to print, a nice size, and very utilitarian, while still pretty.
