Not an RPG, but a 'board and CCG' game. I wonder if the license for an RPG based on the world is far behind?

Hmmm - maybe the board game is a form of brutal Risk or Axis & Allies. If you win an engagment roll a d6 and figure result -

1. Killed
2. Maimed
3. Sodomized
4. Tortured
5. Best Friend Killed
6. Sodomized by a friend or family member

You don't want to know what happens when you loose

wow, this is a little unexpected. can't say i'll get the card game, but i might look at the board game. it's weird how FFG is an RPG company, the article mentions how martin became addicted to role-playing, but there is no mention of an RPG supplement.

kind of confusing. i sent him an email and in his reply he told me that something was in the works and to stay tuned. i must admit to being slightly let down....i was kind of waiting for an RPG product. perhaps that's forthcoming.

I for one hope that there is not only a rpg forth coming but that it's a really good d20 rpg. that would soooo great!
