Didn't Dragon Magic have a feat for any dragonblooded character to learn a single draconic aura (which may have required a second feat to actually obtain, I forget)?
Dragon Magic p.16, Draconic Aura feat, only prereq is character level 3, no dragonblooded required, no other feat necessary.

IF you are the dragonblood subtype, the aura gains in power as you level. Otherwise the bonus is only a +1.

So, to get the most out of this, you need both be of dragonblood subtype, which you can gain via Draconic Heritage feat, requiring a Sorcerer level 1.

So, to make the most of of this, yes, you want both feats.

Do the draconic versions of the core races in Dragon Magic count for dragonblooded? You know, Silverbrow Human, Fireblood Dwarf, etc...? It'd save a feat if so.

Yes, they automatically get the Dragonblood subtype, very handy, especially since they are +0s. They have some tradeoffs however that some may not like.

The Silverbrow for instance does not get his bonus skill points like a regular human but gets feather fall and other stuff in its place along with the subtype.
