'Melee' powers and throwing melee weapons...

First Post
Since Righteous Brand is a 'Melee' power, and my melee weapon is a Dwarven Thrower, and I can use Righteous Brand as a basic attack (Power of Skill feat)... that means whenever I'm granted a Basic Attack I can use Righteous Brand at range? Correct?

Also, since Righteous Brand can now be used in place of a basic attack I can now use Righteous Brand as a charge attack too?

Pretty sure about the charging, not so sure about the thrown.

In order to make a ranged attack with a power, that power needs to say Ranged followed by a range, like 10, 20, or weapon. Righteous Brand is a Melee weapon power, so you can't make a ranged attack with it unless a feat or class feature that says so.

If you can use Righteous Brand as a melee basic attack, then you can use it on a charge.
