Personally, I frequently use nagas for large snakes and the purple worm for huge snakes.

Local Dollar Store...bag of plastic snakes (around a dozen) for a dollar. Includes a wide variety or colors and markings.

If too large, trim to size with a pair of scissors.

All the snakes you will ever need. If you want to get fancy get some empty large miniatures bases and glue one of the big guys to it, or even a pile of the little guys to make a swarm.
