Modern Archtypes

Modern entertainment seems to depend on archtypes that to me seem to correspond roughly to D&D Classes. This gave me an interesting idea for a campaign. I am creating an alternate reality that is roughly modern, but still incorporates elements of renaissance, old-west, pulp, and semi-futuristic elements.

I need help identifying some recent characters that fit our usual archtypes.
The only characters I wish to exclude from this list are comic superheroes (no X-men or Avengers types). Characters can be as old as Old-west or as near future as say 2025.

What characters from TV, Movies, Literature, and reality fit the following archtypes?

Con Man
Adventurer
Noble Hero
Tortured Hero
Strategist
Evil Genius
Tough guy
Henchman
Great Hunter
Thief
Psycho
Leader of Men
Spy
Gunslinger

Any other archtypes you might identify are welcome.

I will start with an example:
Adventurer - Indiana Jones, most closely fits my ideal of the semi-modern all-round adventuring type. Educated, suave, and tough, but not invincible.

Con Man -A good example of this one to me is Face from the A-team.
Adventurer -MacGyver
Noble Hero
Tortured Hero
Strategist
Evil Genius - Bill Gates?
Tough guy - David Dunn from Unbreakable, or is that too superhero type?
Henchman
Great Hunter
Thief
Psycho
Leader of Men
Spy - A little on the obvious side, but James Bond seems to be the standard for this one.

Gunslinger - BIlly the Kid was always my favorite

Some of these other categories seem pretty difficult.

There is one archtype that just doesn't seem to QUITE fit any of the above - though you could consider it a combination of many:

Garrak from Deep Space Nine - but then he doesn't fit any easy definition.

Con Man - Andy Osnard (Tailor of Panama)
Adventurer - DONE (nobody keeps up w/ the Jones')
Noble Hero - Atticus Finch (To Kill A Mockingbird)
Tortured Hero - John Coffey (The Green Mile)
Strategist - Andy Du Fresne (The Shawshank Redemption)
Evil Genius - Mr. Glass (Unbreakable)
Tough guy - Bud White (LA Confidential)
Henchman - Odd Job (Goldfinger)
Great Hunter - Predator
Thief - Danny Ocean (also done)
Psycho - Mr. Blonde (Reservoir Dogs)
Leader of Men - Patton (Patton)
Spy - James Bond (duh)
Gunslinger - Michael Sullivan (Road to Perdition)

and...

Cold Blooded Killer - Lou Ford (The Killer Inside Me)
Anti Hero - William Munny (Unforgiven)
Every Man - John MacLaine (Die Hard)
Detective - The Continental Op (any story is good)
Wiseass - Dr. Peter Venkman (Ghostbusters)
Pure Walking Evil -Kurgan (Highlander)
Cold Hearted Bee-otch - Lily Dillon (The Grifters)

The martial artist is also a common archtype. Just look at Jacky Chan. In fact, you could practically name the class after him.
