This are really coool. I'd love to see a gaming book on inventions and the roll they would play in a campaign world.

In my own puttering and in my prep for these i have found a few subject that ithin would make great books. I have an idea for a "What REALLY happened" type series, but I am not the guy to make it happen. :)

Why not? You create things for a living, it is in your blood. Assuming you have blood and you are not just a clay gollum

:D I loved that pun :D

I really think you should try to do this, Mark.

I appreciate the faith, but the technical end would eat me alive. All that "making sure you do the notes thing and don't get sued" part would end it.

In case it isn't obvious form a couple of years of my posts I spent most of my time in the art room. :) Basic punctuation, bibliography, sentence structure, pragraph breaks, all of thta mystifies me. I had one guy on these boards who is an editor and in chat he told me "No offense, but you need a translator, I cannot understand most of what you write" :p

That's what the editor is for. One is not expect to edit ones own work, even the proffesional writers have editors to help in this area.

Meh, maybe after the kiln is built i will work on it during the long firings.

For now I need to get motivated enough to actually buy Suzi and Joes new book. MMS:Ecology and Culture is actually out and I feel sick not having it. :)

It's a great book..well, I just have the pdf version but I will be getting the print one once I see it a store.

Get a notebook and start just taking notes of the real world things you encounter. Better yet, do it in Word or notebook so you can copy and paste ideas that are alike for organization. Heck, you can contack Suzi and Joe and see if they would be interested in such a project. This type of thing is right up thier alley.
