Im a bit confused by the marking ability when used by monsters. Example:
Armblade (standard; at-will)
Reach 2 +30 vs. AC (+32 against a bloodied target); 2d6 + 9
damage (crit 2d6 + 21), and the target is marked until the end of
the swordwing’s next turn. see also vicious opportunist.
Vicious Opportunist
The swordwing’s opportunity attacks deal an extra 2d6 damage.
There are a lot of examples in the MM where a monster can mark AND has special abilities on its OAs. As if those two are connected somehow.
Can monsters make basic attacks against marked opponents that shift away or attack allies (like the fighter can)? Do these even count as OAs?
