[MotW] Hasted Frienzied Berzerker?!?

What can this character do when Frenzied and Hasted?

The description of Frenzy states that, when frenzied, a character gets one extra attack per round at their highest base attack. A parenthetical note states that this is not cumulative with Haste.

At least, with the partial action from the haste, you can reach the enemy, and still do a full attack option. Kind of sucks that you only get the one attack otherwise.

A similar question came up with Haste and a weapon of Speed.

If he is Frenzied and Hasted, he gets all the benefits of Hast, his extra attack is completely over shadowed. Whether he wants to get the extra attack from his ability or the Haste, both give one extra attack at his highest BAB.

According to Skip:

Haste + Speed weapon don't stack (nevermind what "stack" is supposed to mean in this situation).

Speed weapon + Speed weapon gives you 2 extra attacks.

So how is it that speed + haste don't stack because they are the same effect, but speed weapon + speed weapon stack?

Because if you've got a speed weapon + speed weapon, you have two weapons, and (at least) two hands? Both of them are being sped up to allow for an additional attack. Haste, your reactions are a tad quicker, allowing you to do one additional thing, move OR attack.

And when you have a weapon that is fast, and you and that weapon are sped up, you should be able to attack even faster.

Too bad the term "stack" isn't defined in a situation like this.

It could mean that you get one additional attack from the weapon and one additional action from the spell, but you don't get an extra attack during that extra partion from the speed enchantment.

Not to mention that they give different things, one gives an extra partial action, one gives an extra attack.

possibilities

So... let me see if I've got this right (I'll assume that the Frenzied Berzerker has a BAB of +9)

Frenzied combat options (no Haste):
  • Full attack action + 5' step - 3 attacks at +9, +9, +4; 5' step
  • Single attack + Frenzy attack + Move - 2 attacks at +9, +9, move base speed.

Hasted and Frenzied options in combat:

  • Full Attack + Frenzy Attack + Partial action - 3 attacks at +9, +9, +4; partial action (can be used to move base speed?).
  • Single Attack + Move (or MEA) + Partial - Attack at +9; Move bas speed; Attack at +9 (or any other partial action).

Does this sound right??
