Maybe I should elaborate on the situation...

The DM we have is notorious for putting us up against very difficult odds, and likes to see us come very close to death. So me and my buddy said we were going to munchkin some characters to help even the adds :)

There you have it, the back ground of the situation, im not just trying to powerhouse a regular session :p

Pretty much going from memory here, so I could be off. This guy hurts, he kills on a charge.

Sorcerer.

If its offensive output you're going for, the Sorcerer has some of the best sustained damage output builds you could want. If you're not worried about your DM totally screwing you over, go Elemental Savant and blast away with your favorite energy damage.

Alternatively, you could go Summoner. Get Summon Monster for each (or every other) spell level, Lesser Planar Binding, go Augment Summoning, and swamp the battlefield with summoned monsters.

You'll be a bit of a glass cannon, so your defense will have to come from another source.

Alternatively, you could Nova with a Psion, but that's something I'm not terribly familiar with.

Human Cleric 11, or perhaps a Radiant Servant of Pelor.

You'll get 5 feats. They should be:

Extend Spell --> Persistent Spell --> DMM Persistent Spell
Quicken Spell
Extra Turning if you have low CHA and need more turn attempts to fuel DMM Persistent, otherwise, Power Attack.

Buff with Divine Power or Righteous Might, Persistent. Also consider Persisting Bless (if you're a team player) or Divine Favor (if you're selfish). Quicken some first level spells (Bless or Divine Favor are decent choics). Throw down Greater Magic Weapon and Magic Vestment each day so that you can focus on buying non-Plus equipment.

I'd suggest +1 Full Plate of Light Fortification, a +1 Acidic Weapon (Holy if you can get it, or Bane if you know what sorts of foes you'll be up against), Nightsticks from LM, a Periapt of Wisdom +2, Pearls of Power, and a sack of scrolls as a starting point for gear. Don't forget the wand of cure light wounds or lessor vigor -- you won't want to be wasting any of your spell power for out of combat healing when you can get it so cheap.

Biggest munchkin?

Hmm, that's a toughy, cause there are limits as to what even a gm will allow.

If you were going to push your limit, you could try convincing him to allow a gestalt character. Rules for gestalt are in the CA.
There are even more extreme munchkiness available there if you. If you understand the rules there you could pull something like my friend tried to do.
Warlock 10/ Incarnate 2, Binder 5, Saint 2, Hellfire Warlock 1 for his 10th lvl gestalt.

gestalts technically don't have an LA so you could pull it over on your gm, but our campaign treats them as a +3 LA

Ignoring gestalts, my personal favorite for munchkyness is warlocks.
Two possible builds, both completely legit.
My build: very high dex. Main weapon: glaive
Defense: Max dex out while getting no negatives on anything but str.
Combined with celestial armor to get 8 armor while being able to get another 8 ac from dex, and then ring of prot 5, amulet of NAC 5, gives you a whopping 36 AC. You can get still more if you work at it.
Attack: Eldritch blast always hit touch AC. Using the glaive and a hast will give you a full attack +1 for a 3/4 BAB. At will invisibility, flying. Use acid modifier to your glaive, lets if bypass SR and DR. Take the maximise spell like abiltiy feat to maximize it 3 times a day.
Other cool ability options like devour magic or summon swarms. Did I mention 10ft reach with the glaive? No line specifically stating you cant hit adjacent squares either, as glaive would.

Magic Items:
Many many possibilities. For example, you could create a pendant which as a free action, gives you true strike, If you pay double, it be made so that it won't actually take the armor slot that it's made for, so you could stack it with the amulet of NAC 5. For a 30% diiscount, you can have the item made for your specific alignment.
Belt of battle is awesome, especially for glaivelock. Since the glaive lasts till the beginning of your next turn, it gives you AoO, but also, th maximize will last through another full round attack you can crank out from this baby.
Finaly bit of munchkiness I just found out is Black Blade of Destruction. Too high for a lvl 11, but get some poor soul to craft this baby for you at max level when you have the opportunity. Stacks with hideous blow from warlock, allowing you to deal 40d6(+9d6 (+6d6 if you take hellfire warlock prestige) +12d6 from various items you can buy to pump your EB)

In the end that's my formula, but I've seen a warlock optimizer out there which claims to allow you to get 2000 dmg approx from a maximized hit while still getting your full attack. With haste, at 20th . . . .you can do the math, but I doubt many monsters can survive that,

Druid 11. Take Natural Spell.

P.S.: If you know about the official Character Optimization boards, I would highly recommend you do not make this post there. You will get flamed. If you want specific and worthwhile char op help, develop at the very least a character concept/role and some classes, abilities, and feats you want. It's even better if you lay out a full build, then ask for improvements. Perhaps some people are more accommodating here, but the people at CharOp (and I) won't waste lots of time and effort statting up a character that you won't use.

The DM we have is notorious for putting us up against very difficult odds, and likes to see us come very close to death. So me and my buddy said we were going to munchkin some characters to help even the adds
Just a word of warning: don't overdo it, or your DM will start singing.

The Lancer-High mobility ubercharger in many D&D combats this guy can cross the battlefield in a single round and do incredible charging damage
[sblock]Attributes:

Strength = 15 (+2)
Dexterity = 14 (+2)
Constitution = 13 (+1)
Intelligence = 10 (+0)
Wisdom = 12 (+1)
Charisma = 8 (-1)

Stat Increases:
4th = +1 to Wis (12 to 13)
8th = +1 to Str (15 to 16)
12th = +1 to Con (13 to 14)
16th = +1 to Str (16 to 17)
20th = +1 to Str (17 to 18)

(The lancer requires only 13 str, dex, and wis. Adjust these scores and adjustments as necessary if your chosen race has racial modifiers to one of these abilities. The use of certain feats or classes in customization may alter your priorities here as well.)

Assumptions:
Psionic powers meet the very loose Blade Dancer prerequisite.
That's it. Any DM allowing psionics is likely to see that the Blade Dancer was written for a psionic-less campaign but the class would still work with a psionic feel, so it's an easy assumption.
(you can explain a Battle Jumping scout as an ambush-technique specialist.)

Classes and feats
Scout (CV) 11 / Psychic Warrior (XPH) 2 / Blade Dancer (OA) 7

01 Scout - Battle Jump (UE) Skirmish 1d6, trapfinding
02 PsyWar - Power Attack*
03 Scout - [**] Battle Fortitude 1, Uncanny dodge
04 PsyWar - Dodge*
05 Scout - +10 speed, Skirmish 1d6/1, trackless step
06 Scout - Mobility* Leap Attack (CV)
07 Scout - Evasion, Skirmish 2d6/1
08 Scout - Flawless Stride
09 Scout - Up the Walls (XPH) Skirmish 2d6/2
10 Scout - Spring Attack* Camouflage
11 Scout - Skirmish 3d6/2
12 Scout - Speed of Thought (XPH) Blindsense 30'
13 Scout - Battle Fortitude 2, Speed +20, Skirmish 3d6/3
14 Blade Dancer - Acrobatics +10, Fast Movement
15 Blade Dancer - Mounted Combat[1], Enchanted Blade 1
16 Blade Dancer -
17 Blade Dancer - Ride the Wind, Improved Fast Movement
18 Blade Dancer - Spirited Charge[1], Acrobatics +20, Acrobatic attack
19 Blade Dancer - Enchanted Blade 2
20 Blade Dancer - Greater Fast Movement[/sblock]
I won't inflict the Hulking Hurler, the Iajitsu Master, the Master of Puppets, or Whirlwind on these boards. That much munchkinry in a single thread might implode.

I still think Black Blade of Destruction is one of the most powerful weapons in the game.
On Fort check, fail equals disintegration, save equals 2d6x caster level ~ lets say 40d6 as a typical 20.

A normal warlock, with hellfire PrC and normal warlock items and haste, could hit
8 x ( 40d6 + [maximized] 27d6 ) with a fort check on each one to see. It's possinle to pump that 8x quite a bite more with staff of timestop in a castor glove and or more belts of battle which you pay double to stack.

(140(averag dmg) + 162 maximized ) = 302 per hit
302 * 8 = 2416

If you use time stop. Even if you get unlucky you can double that becayse TS would add double that. TS would multiply that damage by x2-x3.5
The definition of the glaive is such that it is until the end of the turn so as to allow AoO, and as such, the maximize lasts the whole time.

I'm not sure if belt of battle stacks with that. Even then, you'd only lose out on 1208

Assuming your character might be like mine and have a low cha, so the DC is so low, the only way for it to work is if the opponent rolls a one.
At the end of the day, with belt of battle, you will hit 16-28 times. The chance he won't hit a single one is only about (median of 24%-44% depending on # of hits) 32%.

I'm sorry, but I don't know of any character, even a wizard or sorceror who can do better dps against a single target.
You can only do this for a single turn, but in that one turn, you could on average, on all hits, deal 6644. Since touch AC is so negligably low, the miss/crit chance on most creature is negiigable and mostly cancels. So thats 6.7k dmg with a 68% of an outright disintegration. Even if deathward or anti-death effects are active, there are still few creatures that could survive that. DR and SR doesnt apply since Vitrolic blast would bypass that.

Out of curiosity, I calculated the max. The maximum damage if you rolled the maximum on all dice. 11256.

Great damage right? Well it's not cheap. I think it will cost you closer to a mill to get everything. Not sure exactly how much but between 500k-1mill. There are tricks to getting it a little cheaper, but I'm not going to share it.

Only character class on par in damage might be a cleric. A cleric with a max of 32 or 34 wisdom, could cast enough death spells in that same time with a high enough DC to outweigh what a warlock can do. Plus his insane Wis would allow him to continue casting it for many turns, while the warlock's eldritch bonus damage will go down to 13d6 non maximized, plus the original 40d6. 53d6 with a 5% chance of disintegration per hit isn't bad, but could be better.
