Check out Sagiro's campaign, on the Storyhour forum on these boards. It'll take you a while to get into it, but you'll get to see an example of a dreamscape in use.

And I'm sure somebody out there has a book about dreamscapes planned to be coming out soon.

Heh, blame Hakkenshi for the dancing monkeys. He also did the azer in loincloth (for the swimsuit article), and the samurai bugbear (Paladin's Code). The artwork in this issue has been top-notch, I must say.
