my halfling rogue

i made a halfling rogue and i have some questions>
-if you have seen pirates of the Caribbean 2, then this will be funny, but i want a jar of dirt to make monsters chase me cause they want to now whats inside so i can disappear and kill.
-since I'm a halfling, could i hide in someones backpack? if so can i shoot from there like a turret
-finally halfling tossing, how would that work.
if you have any other ideas on what i could do with a halfling, don't hesitate if you think its dangerous, do tell

The backpack-hiding is probably the hardest to believe. If you're asking from a strict rules perspective, then the answer is no. Remember that you're about 4 feet tall and about 80 lbs plus gear. That would seriously unbalance plenty Medium-sized creatures. Maybe if they're slowed? I'd ask your DM though. I know plenty of groups who love silly things like that and would relish the thought.
