With the new announcement by Wizards of the Coast that publishers like Necromancer Games will be able to support the new Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition rules, Necro is going 4E! That's right, "Fourth Edition Rules, First Edition Feel"!

We have yet to see the Game System License that will govern the exact products we can create, but you can expect the following products from Necromancer Games:

Advanced Player's Guide: Feel like your new Fourth Edition Player's Handbook doesn't have all the races and classes that you love, such as the druid, barbarian or bard? Then look no further than the Advanced Player's Guide. If it is a classic race or class and it didn't make its way into the official books, then you can find them here. Written by industry giant and 4E insider Ari Marmel! Price and release date to be determined.

Tome of Horrors 4th Edition: A collection of classic and original monsters for your Fourth Edition game. Over 200 monsters. Written by Scott Greene and Clark Peterson. Hardcover. Price and release date to be determined.

Tegel Manor: The Judges Guild classic adventure module is being updated and expanded for Fourth Edition! Price and release date to be determined.

Winter's Tomb: A free introductory pdf adventure similar to Necro's classic Wizard's Amulet. Complete with pregenerated characters. Written by Clark Peterson. To be released as soon as legally possible. Free pdf.

The Iron Tower Adventure Path: A series of products and adventures in the classic style that picks up where Winter's Tomb leaves off and takes the PCs to 20th level and beyond. Price and release date to be determined.
More to come soon! Stay tuned!

Very cool! We are currently using Wilderlands for our 3.5 game... does Tegel Manor 4E mean that we're going to see an updated Wilderlands for 4E?

Oh - and Iron Tower is a great announcement too. Good luck!

Will those be pre-orderable via Paizo's website, Clark?

Yes, but not until we see the actual GSL and know for a fact that those planned products can in fact be created under the GSL. I dont want to take money for a product before we know we can make it :) (maybe that makes me a bad business man, but so be it).

No 4E Wilderlands is planned. But you never know... If Tegel is a run away hit, maybe we will reconsider.

This is really great news for everyone. That advanced players guide alone may allow me to convince my significant other to play 4e (no barbarian! how can there be no barbarian?!?). :)

Glad to hear that Necromancer Games can go ahead with their 4E products as planned. Well done Scott Rouse and Linae Foster for making this happen. I look forward to seeing the products Clark.
