need some plot hooks for my campaign

I started a campaign last week with no direction, I basically just got the group togather. The campaign setting is something I've never seen before but we are all enjoying it so far. It takes place in a wild west style world where a "gunslinger's" steel his is shortsword. It's basically a western without guns.
We are playing by the arcana evolved rules and the group consist of almost twenty year old humans: twin champions; a champion of light (the local priest, typical zombie hunting catholicy dressed guy) and a chapion of death (his twin brother and opposite, he is the town's undertaker), there is a Magister who is a traveling shaman raised by the Litorians (plains folk who live off of the land and follow the buffalo herds), a gambler (unfettered), and a slinger (don't remember for sure his class, one of the combatants).

They are currently in an abandoned mine looking for a small group of bandits who killed the deputy. I'm kind of at a loss on where to go and what I can do with this setting, but it's a setting we are all enjoying very much. I'm hoping you guys can give me some inspiration.

As always, thanks in advance

Mini Quest ideas:

The Bodyguards: The local merchant, Joro, is about to go on his annual pilgrimage to his mother’s grave. This trip takes 10 days to complete and crosses treacherous territory. Your party is offered a handsome treasure and money to escort Joro as his bodyguards.
·Additional Info: The pilgrimage is indeed dangerous, for it is not only filled with wild monsters, but treacherous bands of robbers and assassins who have been hired by local merchants to eliminate their competition!

Ten Nights of the Beast: Your party arrives at a village that mysteriously is lacking children. Upon investigation you find that the children started disappearing some three weeks ago and the town is in complete despair. They do not know how the children are disappearing, but they do know that it happens at night when they are sleeping.
·Additional Info: While staying at the inn your party senses magical doings in the floor above. When they investigate, they find all the adults in a deep magical sleep and demons dragging the children into a magical doorway.
·Additional Info: Your party follows them into the doorway and find an entire village being built and maintained by children. This evil must be stopped at all cost!

The Evil Within: Your party has reached a bridge that crosses a large stream. As they pass, they feel as if they are attacked by something invisible and elusive. They manage to scare it away, but do not know what it is. They continue on the path to find a small village, whose residents are terrified. Your party is taken in as guests by a young, beautiful woman who is runs a local inn.
·Additional Info: The woman has been running the inn since her mom, the previous owner, died while crossing the bridge. They say the bridge is haunted and no one in the village has dared to cross it since the killings first happened 3 months ago.
·Additional Info: The woman has several small fresh wounds that she is trying to hide. When the time is right, she will reveal her true form as an evil creature and attack the party, for she is the one that has been haunting the bridge!

Heirlooms. The heiress Jenniselli has commissioned your party to retrieve a sword & shield from a woman named Lytania. Lytania was the mistress of Jenniselli’s husband, Rygr, a great knight who had eventually given up his prosperous life to be with his mistress. Rygr mysteriously died some two years ago, but his sword & shield has been kept by Lytania as a keepsake. Jenniselli gives you a stipend of 300 gold coins to purchase the sword & shield back, since they are family heirlooms. Your party is told not to investigate the death of Rygr, for even mention of his name brings shame to the family. If Lytania is not willing to sell the heirlooms to you, then your party is to use any means necessary to get them back.
·Additional Info: Lytania truly loved Rygr and is unwilling to sell back the sword & shield. Lytania’s brother, Tal, tells your party to wait by the inn and he will get the heirlooms for you. Tal arrives an hour later with the heirlooms and takes the money. Tal is part of a notorious gang in the area who tried to blackmail Rygr two years past, and eventually had to kill him. He killed his own sister for the 300 gp, and now plans to use his gang to kill your party and take your belongings!

Festival. The Harvest Sun festival is fast approaching the Manilow Kingdom, and the local baker had prepared his Kings Blood Cake for the opening day. Unfortunately the Cake was ruined when the understudy cook accidentally let in some stray cats. The Baker is furious, but is more concerned that his giant cake is ruined. He needs to make one quickly, but needs a rare ingredient which only grows at the bottom of Loch Dungeon. Will you retrieve this rare ingredient for him?
·Additional Info: The ruining of the cake was no accident. The understudy actually works for a competing baker, and has informed him that you are seeking out the ingredient. The competing baker will surely do all he can to stop your party.

mime. The Royal Mime, Tigue, has recently been found dead in the ruby forest. The King and Queen are very upset by this and offers a reward to anyone who can solve this murder.
·Additional Info: If a tree falls on a mime, and no one is around, does anyone care?

These are some of the miniquests in my 17 series, available at the ENGamestore and rpgnow.

What's a plot hook? Wouldn't you need a plot first? And a "campaign idea"? Don't you already have that. Do you want some sort of epic story line that takes characters from 1st to 20th level?

I thought the title of this was "plot hooks".

Oh well, sorry. If you are looking for a huge campaign, then good luck to you.

You could try having an economic concern as the hook -- make the bandits mere tools of a local businessman who wants to get rich involving an indigenous element of your local campaign. I'm thinking along the lines of a character like Al in Deadwood, if you know the show. Anyway, including economics gave a nice twist to a story of mine called The Dead God's Destiny. Not really a story hook, but a direction that might lead you to one.

Every one of the mini quests above is a "plot idea" so I'm not sure what you mean.

Plot "inspiration"? Do you mean something like "watch the movies Silverado, and Last Man Standing" ?

I'm sorry The Le, I'm not trying to sound as if I didn't appreciate your post, I just didn't find what I was looking for in it.

Pick up the Deadlands D20 pdf or book. There are tons of western campaign ideas, that with a little work, can be converted to the style of your game.
