Looks pretty tight.

If you dont want to give away what you used for security reasons, reply at

Just professionally curious.

I stopped by and gave 'em a "looking good and good luck." :)

Everybody should at least drop in and say "Hi" as much as the Paizo crew takes heed of ENWorld, it's the least we could do.

Thanks for the compliment!

Actually it's all home-grown here at Paizo, using WebObjects and WireHose. We decided to build our own solution so we could integrate it as tightly as possible with the e-commerce, search engine and subscription management features on the rest of the website.

Heh. We feel like kids in a candy store now that it's finally launched....

Thanks!

Yeah, Gary (bigbigdog) and I built the site from the ground up with WebObjects. The code is in Java. WebObjects is a great set of frameworks for Web development from Apple. We also use a great set of additional frameworks that Gary Teter developed called Wirehose.

For what it's worth, in previous professional Web jobs I've developed in PHP, Perl, and even in Amazon.com's crazy CatSubst language. WebObjects is by far the most powerful and most elegant environment I've seen.
