I have been excited about and supportive of the Book of Erotic Fantasy since the day the news was announced (yes, even with that less-than-stellar press release). I have spent a great deal of time over the past few months at the Valar Project website ( www.valarproject.com ) and the more I have learned about it, the more I've been looking forward to a good product. I have yet to get the printed preview, but there have been nearly-weekly previews posted at the Valar site. It looks like a quality suppliment. And the increasing number of good reviews (including two mostly-positive ones here at EN World, if I'm not mistaken) certainly don't hurt either.
From what I've seen and read so far the BoEF will be a good addition to our suppliment collection and I look forward to getting it. It will help out in numerous game situations in the campaigns I play in. I really like what I've seen of the art - and I normally don't care for photo manips, but these are beautifully done.
For "replusive" art, look at some of the images in the Monster Manuals. Some of the creatures in those books are far more disturbing than the goblin fertility goddess or fallen seraphim, IMO.
I placed my pre-order for the BoEF a couple of months ago and I eagerly await the day UPS delivers it, with more eagerness than I awaited the 3.5 core books.
