Version 4.4 of TableSmith is now available from Mythosa.net in the RPG Utilities section. The following features have been added:
The new functions deal with "datasets", which are essentially small databases in TableSmith. Unlike the previous implementations of "database-like" functions in TableSmith, datasets can be both modified as well as saved away for future use. This opens up a number of possibilities for dynamic tables, such as using items that were generated in one instance as potential results in future generations.
(Note that with the addition of the dataset functions, the "Data" function and the array functions have been deprecated in version 4.4).
- Fixed bug with "Cap" function (didn't work properly if fed an empty string)
- Added functions: "DSCreate", "DSAdd", "DSCount", "DSWrite", "DSRead", "DSSet", "DSGet", "DSRemove", "DSFind", "DSSort", "DSRandomize"
