What products NOT by WotC are simply the best? Which ones are the best balanced, most original, and you just keep bringing them up to the game table? Not counters or miniatures, though those are great, but actual texts.

IMO, I'd say the Ravenloft material put out by SSS. Top notch, and in many ways superior to the 2e material, as good as that was.

I'm also a big fan of Bad Axe's Heros of High Favor line.

Other "best" products (IMO) include:

Oathbound Campaign Setting by Bastion Press
The Book of the Righteous by Green Ronin
Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary by Atlas Games

There are, of course, many that I haven't listed which are in the "Very Good" category, but the above products are stellar.
