Action-Heroes is a cinematic toolkit role-playing game with a D6 dice pool system. The game encourages collaborative play in a group that give players the tools to play characters that are larger than life doing explosive action that roots them as the center of their world.

There are no classes in the Action-Heroes RPG, and characters are built using pools of points that allow players to customize their characters to the ideas that they have in their heads.

Feels rather insulting to call this column "NotDnD". You can dislike WotC all you want, their and TSR's contributions to RPGs cannot be understated. Also with this logic you might as well have named this "NotWarhammer" or "NotPathfinder", those are about as prolific as D&D as well.

D&D absolutely dominates the rpg landscape. "Not D&D" is not an insulting name, just a place to showcase other games, and independent creators. Also, D&D has that brand name recognition similar to Kleenex. "Not Pathfinder" wouldn't really work. It's a great show, not a hate WotC show.

Even if WoTC was great (which they’re not) calling the show “NotDnD” is a great way for people discover the rest of the industry. NotXerox, NotStarbucks, NotWalmart, etc.

It’s not insulting, it’s a back-handed compliment if anything.

Yeah, I don't think having the column point out that its talking about games other than D&D is exactly insulting unless your view is nothing deserves reference except in the context of D&D.
