He is skilled in running the affairs of the household as well as managing her spy network. Appearance:
Eradial is small, though taller than many female Drow. Her skin glistens obsidian black surrounded by long, full, straight, white hair with a flush of shorter bangs framing her face. Her eyes are not the typical blood red, but a pale lavender so when she is seen from a distance, her eyes appear to be fully white. She dresses in blacks and greys with small accents of a bright color such as red or green. She does not don the heavy robes of most wizards, preferring tight, body-baring leather, though not the grade of leather which provides protection. She bears the six fingered hand tattoo of Graz'zt in the small of her back. Fond of jewelry, she wears chains and bangles of all sorts. Her ears are pierced multiple times. She has a single piercing of her right eyebrow, as well as a few more personal piercings. Eradial's nails are kept long and hard with elixirs, generally clear, sometimes red or green. She does not take kindly to breaking a nail. She often has Claire on her shoulder, bringing her into establishments with her. The owl is tiny and quite willing to stay with his master, not generally annoying others. She never kills spiders, and has taught Claire to go after other insects instead of Lolth's favored creature.

Personality:
Eradiel believes she is superior to others of differing races, and to many of the Drow. She despises all other elves, and refuses to allow them into her house. She tolerates humans the best for she sees them as easily used tools. They are the predominant race these days, but they have no vision. She simply ignores those who can not be of use to her, for they are not worth her time. Eradiel has long term goals of bringing Lolth and the Drow back to the surface. Though not particularly political minded, she sees herself as a pioneer forging a life in a big city, climbing in status and wealth. She would not admit her greed, but she has a lust for fineries as much as she lusts for pleasure. Eradiel gains great pleasure in knowing she can manipulate or control others, whether through her words or through her magics. Her home is full of chess boards, both because she enjoys the game, but also to cover the fact that one of them is her spellbook.


Background:
Steam rises from the hot water freshly refilled by the male tiefling. As Eradiel leans back in the tub she languidly opens her eyes, and spies a figure in the shadows. The figure sees he has been spotted and steps slowly into the light. Eradiel's eyes widen momentarily as she studies him. She knows who this creature is. "Leave me," she directs her curt words to the tiefling who looks momentarily surprised but knows better than to question. He backs away from the tub, spying the intruder. He bows towards his lady before leaving the room, not acknowledging Graz'zt for he feels it is safer to pretend he does not see the demon.

Eradiel pushes herself up to stand, water dripping off her body. With no words spoken, Graz'zt comes to her, taking her with a voracious appetite she shares. He sojourns longer than he had expected, using her to feed his hunger many times over the course of a few days.

Graz'zt came to Eradiel on the word of a trusted quasit spy. The quasit had spied her in Darksbane, a school of wizardy she attended in the Underdark. She was beautiful, more than most of the drow he had seen. She walked with a sultry air about her, exuding a deep sexuality. She also had power, but not of the kind usually fostered by simple fools. She had never been satisfied with merely blasting magic into someone. She was an enchanter, a manipulator. She gained obvious pleasure over bending another's will to do her bidding, particularly if it ended with the person in anguish. The quasit dug around to find out more of the girl. She had been born to a drow priestess of Lolth and a fighter who had taken to the surface as part of the slow Drow migration. It was difficult to acclimate oneself to the bright light, but necessary if Drow were to take their rightful place as the leading race of the surface world. Eradiel's mother, finding she was pregnant once again, wanted her unborn child to know the power of darkness and so traveled to the temple of Lolth below the surface to give birth to Eradiel. Her first child had also been a girl and was given to serve Lolth in the temple, as was custom.

After a few years, the family returned to the surface, residing in an out of the way community of a few other drow and half-orcs. Their homes were spaced far apart as none really trusted the other. A few dwarves were not far, as well as full orcs. When Eradiel came of age, she was deposited into Darksbane to foster her arcane abilities. She had a natural Drow tendency to think of herself as superior to other races. It was at Darksbane, she came to think she was superior to the majority of Drow as well. The other students were often silly fools with inconsequestial goals. She had many opportunities to practice exerting her will on classmates, guards, and even a professor a time or two though they had much stronger wills. She discovered her own sexual power, choosing new lovers often, especially those who could be rough and experimental. She thought nothing of ridding herself of a pesky discarded lover, often by manipulating guards into killing him.

Eradiel left Darksbane when she felt it had nothing left to offer. She returned to the surface. It had been many years and things had changed with her family. Her mother had died from an orc raid years earlier. Her father, Tlann, evidently had spent too much time with the insipidly good surface dwellers for he had softened and had lost his cruel edge. Most treacherous of all, he had a female moon elf, Salya, by his side now, they had joined together in matrimony. Eradiel was furious. Why couldn't he have just taken her as a slave lover instead of betraying who he was by honoring her with marriage? Her hatred for the elf and her father grew more sharp as the days went by. Finally, she would put up with it no longer. She gave a simple suggestion to her father to use Eradiel's young, beautiful body. He was a weak willed fool, and fell upon ravishing his daughter quickly. As Eradiel knew she would, Salya heard noises from the next room and came to inspect. The site shocked and dismayed the woman. Tlann was too enraptured to notice his wife standing there. There was no denying Eradiel had something to do with her father's falling upon her as she relished the act, clawing at her father's back. When finally Tlann finished, Eradiel stared at the woman with a challenging glee in her eyes. Seeing the evil in the daughter, Salya grabbed the rapier from off the wall, threatening to kill Eradiel. Eradiel feigned fear and begged for her father's protection. "You raped me and she wants to kill me for it. You owe me your protection." Eradiel wimpered out to her father who thusly turned the rapier on his wife, killing her in one swift motion. Overcome with horror by what he had done, he fell to his knees, crying in anguish. Eradiel came before him, "You raped your daughter. You killed your wife. How can you go on?" her words slithered out and wrapped about him. She watched in pleasure as he took his own life.

The quasit had witnessed all this in horrific fascination and awe. His master might be interested in this one. As he left her to report back to Graz'zt, Eradiel decided to head to Andeluvay. She had no desire to live in relative seclusion out in the middle of nowhere. The city would provide her many opportunities to apply her arts and provide her with the riches she desired. She could be a source for other Drow to get established in the city.

In Andeluvay, she used her money to procure a place of residence, one secure from intrusion. She also sought a male to keep her home running smoothly and to attend to her every need. She found what she was looking for in the form of a tall tiefling with impeccable manners. Learning of the infamous Black Butterfly, she sought to catch his attention. She knew she could ply her arts well in his service, thereby procuring her own riches. She found Wode, convinced him of her talents, and began working for him.

Finally satiated, Graz'zt looks upon the drow woman. "I leave you with a gift." With that, he lays his hands upon her, imparting power into her body. She feels the rush and smiles with pleasure. "With this gift comes a debt. Do not be under any illusions, you will pay the debt when I command." Without a word, Eradiel nods as she pulls him to her one last time before he departs.
Graz'zt had pleased her in every way. He is powerful and charming and sensual, not like the insipid males of the Material Plane. She even entertains hopeless thoughts of pleasing Graz'zt enough to sit by his side overlooking his vast kingdom in the Abyss. But eventually, she banishes those fanciful dreams to the back of her mind, focusing on what she can do here and now.

With underlings to serve her, a city full of corrupt individuals to consort with, a guildhall giving her access to gold and cruelty, a residence to call her own, and now the luck of Graz'zt with her, Eradiel feels more powerful and sure of herself than ever. She smiles wickedly to herself, with the reassuring knowledge she will not be stopped.
