Once per round

Just a quick query regarding once per round actions. I had not given this thought before but actions which can only be taken once per round, immediate actions for example, does that reset on initiative count 0 or when it gets back to the players turn?

And as a potential follow up, if it is reset on your round can you take immediate actions before you have had your first turn in an encounter.

When the initiatve count is zero, which means if you've won initative then you have to do it before your turn comes up again.

Everything that is once per round is based on your initiative - effectively it's "until the start of your next turn".

Some benefits are usable once per round. If you use such a benefit, you can’t use it again until the start of your next turn.

Yes, you are able to use immediate actions before your first turn, as long as you're not surprised.
