Well isnt this fun? This is the second no contact with a lander in 2 months. Does anyone else think hmmmm, could there be life somewhere that doesn't want us to know anything about them?
I think with all the stars and extrasolar planets there has to be some somewhere, but this just sucks that we keep losing contact with our rovers.

They have contact - of a sort. The rover is receiving instructions and sending a confimation back. However, none of the expected scientific data is being sent and it just sits there doing nothing.

They can now get a rover to Mars safely. They just need to talk to the people who build Battlebots about how to build something that will take a bit of punishment. :D

Conspiracy theory ramblings:

NASA lost contact with the rover early Wednesday. The next day, Thursday, President Bush visited Roswell, NM. The next day limited contact was re-established with the rover.

Think maybe Bush put in a call to Mars and asked them to let us talk with our machine again? :D
