Demogoblin nothing, the Spider Doppelganger was Shriek's cute little pet! Too bad her man (Carnage) killed him, but I wasn't that upset since Carnage is sooo much cooler, IMHO.

Man-o-man, how I love(d) the "Spider-man and His Amazing Friends" cartoon. I really wish they would put that out on dvd or something. The music is just awesome on that show (porno-funk-rock meets orchestra). Also, there were enough repetitive images (Firestorm stopping ice, Iceman stopping fire etc in almost every show) and screwups (voices coming from wrong characters' mouths) to make a drinking game out of it.

Family Channel (the ABC one, not Fox) has Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends on Sunday mornings (10 am Central). They also show the 90's Spider-Man cartoon, the most recent Hulk cartoon, and the 90's X-Men cartoon.

When you look at how well various artists have drawn Mary Jane (especially McFarlane), I have to wonder why the guy even whining at all. His head should be on cloud nine permanently...
