Just to say up front for the WOTC folks, anything said in this thread should be safe for potential judges of the submission contest. Keep it clean, folks.
Let's post our worst possible submissions. I'm betting we'll all enjoy reading them and it'll give the WOTC folks a good break from reading our real submissions. And to get the ball rolling...
Knightopia!
1 - In a land beset with killer white rabbits (with sharp, pointy teeth!) and taunting Frenchmen the only hope is to find the holy grail.
2 - Our heroes rise from the occasionally oppressive noble class who journey forth to find the holy grail.
3 - Our heroes must be prepared for a long quest as this is a land without horses but this lack is overcome with an abundance of coconuts and swallows (both laden and unladen).
4 - The villians are the mysterious black knights (who can withstand any wound and keep fighting), the terrible white rabbit (with great big long pointy teeth), the Knights Who Say Ni! (horror personified), and taunting Frenchmen who cast aspersions upon the heroes ancestry.
5 - Magic is limited with the exception of clerical magic from the almighty god. Beware his wrath as those who annoy him are prone to being squished with his incredible foot!
6 - Umm.... let's see... no horses, the foot of god, quests for shrubberies, oh! And theme songs! Lots of theme songs!
Ok... so maybe it's not great but I'm sure there's some truly terrible settings out there just waiting to be posted.
