Player's Guide Update

I will occasionally post updates here about the Player's Guide to Cthonia, a supplement to the Campaign Setting for 3.5 fans, with this being the first.

Cover: The cover is done, but we yet have to confirm it with our artist, Jane Star. It is a different cover than for the planned 4th campaign guide. Although, if the cover we have planned is not confirmed, then we will use our original cover for the campaign guide.

Contents and Introduction: This is complete. The contents is particularly interesting since we are trying something new: a picture contents page. This is a large picture of a fantasy tabletop with a map of Cthonia, coins, spellbook, pages, and the like, spread about. With this new option, you will be able to click an icon (such as the coins) to take you to the Monetary and Equipment chapter of the book. Of course, in addition to this, their is still the other method of a list with corresponding page numbers.

We are also hoping to hyperlink places on the map to our other products. For example, by clicking on the icon of Caldor on the map in the contents page, it will take you to the Caldor product page.

Races of Cthonia: This section is done as well. It covers the basic human groups living in Cthonia as well as the other races found in the PHB. It also goes into common names, a bit of history, and some social attitudes.

The next section, Adventurers of Cthonia, which discusses character classes and their role in the region, is already under way. This will feature the new cleric class with a few changes. Essentially, we are dropping the healer class we devised and adding some of their abilities to the cleric. We will begin playtesting them this week and let you know a little bit about these changes.

Also, on a side note, being such a small company, we rely heavily on consumer feedback. So, if you purchased a product from us and have yet to leave a comment, good or bad, we would like to hear it via the review section at RPGNow.com, DriveThru, or even here at EnWorld. Comments, good comments especially, drive product sales which helps pay for the artwork that goes into a lot of our newer books.

And, as always, thanks for your support.
