WotC has just made Q1 Queen of the Demonweb Pits available for print-on-demand over on DriveThruRPG!

Available in softcover format for $9.99, this adventure is well known as the seventh and final installment in the GDQ series, famously having the PCs descending into the Abyss to fight Lolth herself! It's also the adventure that introduced us to the drider. More notably, it's also come out in recent years that this wasn't the conclusion to the story that Gary Gygax - who penned the previous modules - wanted, something that the product's sales page notes as being hinted at by how previous installments had the PCs fighting the servants of the Elder Elemental God, rather than Lolth.

The GDQ series has been re-released in various bundles over the years following the publication of the original adventures. As such, certain parts of the saga are available in POD format now, while others can only be picked up as PDFs, and a few have yet to be officially released at all! For instance, G1 Steading of the Hill Giant Chief, G2 The Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl, and G3 Hall of the Fire Giant King are only available as PDFs, whereas the compiled G1-3 Against the Giants has a POD option. Similarly, D1 Descent Into the Depths of the Earth isn't available, but D2 Shrine of the Kuo-Toa is available in print and PDF, and D1-2 Descent Into the Depths of the Earth, which combines the previous two adventures into one, is likewise available in both formats. D3 Vault of the Drow, however, is PDF-only.

Unfortunately, GDQ1-7 Queen of the Spiders, which combined all seven adventures into a single super-module, was previously available on DriveThruRPG, but was pulled some time ago. Hopefully we'll see it return in the near future.

As an interesting tidbit, The Acaeum notes that there was a planned product called G1-4 Revolt of the Giants that was never released:

The 1986 TSR catalog lists this as an upcoming module, which obviously never came to fruition. From the catalog, this description: "Continuing the saga begun in T1-4 Temple of Elemental Evil and A1-4 Scourge of the Slave Lords, this incredible supermodule takes the players to new heights of excitement... and danger! This adventure combines the famous 'G-series' adventures, now completely revised and expanded, plus never-before-seen adventures that feature all the different types of giants from the Monster Manual. A high-level adventure for character levels 12-15." The stock number assigned to it (9179) was eventually re-assigned to GDQ1-7 Queen of the Spiders.

This is the latest book to be given a print on demand option from WotC, following Chainmail: Rules for Medieval Miniatures, L3 Deep Dwarven Delve (AD&D 1E), A Guide to the Ethereal Plane (Planescape), DLR3 Unsung Heroes (Dragonlance 2E), Dungeon Master's Guide 2 (4E), Monster Manual 3 (4E), and Monster Vault: Threats to the Nentir Vale (4E), and City of the Spider Queen (Forgotten Realms 3.5). While H1 Bloodstone Pass was given a POD release, this was later removed for unknown reasons.

Other recent releases include X4 Master of the Desert Nomads (B/X), B7 Rahasia (BECMI) and DLT2 Book of Lairs (Dragonlance 2E), DLS4 Wild Elves (Dragonlance 2E), Greyhawk: The Adventure Begins (Greyhawk 2E), WGM1 Border Watch (Greyhawk 2E), The Book of Lairs (Forgotten Realms 2E), AC10 Bestiary of Dragons & Giants (BECMI), Halls of Undermountain (4E), the War Captain's Companion (Spelljammer), PC3 Creature Crucible: The Sea People (BECMI), Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast (Forgotten Realms 2E), Volo's Guide to Waterdeep (Forgotten Realms 2E), Volo's Guide to Cormyr (Forgotten Realms 2E), the Dark Sun Boxed Set (the original one for AD&D 2E), Campaign Option: Council of Wyrms, and the Planescape Campaign Setting.
