Question about Dragonkin Defender's "None Shall Pass" ability

The general rule is of course that flavor is whatever you want it to be.

But for immobilize/restrain powers there is actually one crunchy factor you need to consider: is it a condition that can be teleported away from, or not? You as DM have final say in this, but it's only fair to the players if you describe the effect in a way that lets them understand which it is.

To summarize the answer to the question:
"In game terms, how does the power immobilize a character?"

This power immobilizes a character by hitting with a Melee Attack power with the Weapon keyword, giving them the Immobilize condition (plus a defense penalty) until they save against it. And that' s it.

Anything above that (how it works 'logically', etc) are all fluff questions. This is how it interacts with the rules.
