question on muli AoO's on same foe

purple knight

Bard/Lasher with the following feats (only listing the relevant ones):

Combat Reflexes
Improved Trip

Using a whip.

If this bard gets an AoO against an opponent and does a successful trip, does he get a second AoO against the same opp per the trip feat?

No, one AoO per opponent per round, regardless of combat reflexes or not. Combat reflexes only allows the player to make AoO against more than one opponent.

The extra attack is NOT an attack of opertunity. He gets his trip attack, and his extra attack as if he had not tripped the guy. So he has used only one of his AOOs and has all his other ones left.

An AoO is just like any other attack. You can trigger the improved trip feat or the cleave feat. Only the first attack counts as an AoO.

Yup. I had to learn this the hard way. :)
