Rapid POD Printing announced today the sale of the company to private investors. Bethane and Danielle Ditto will head up the new management team, as President and Vice-President, respectively, in this now family-owned business.
Both Bethane and Danielle have over five years’ experience in digital printing and have hired additional customer service staff members to handle the increased volume of Rapid POD clients.
“Rapid POD has printed over 400,000 books in its first three years of existence,” stated Bethane Ditto, “and it’s our plan to double that number in just one year with better customer service and follow-through with our clients”
Ken Whitman, the previous President, has stepped down with the buyout to pursue other endeavors in the publishing and art world. “I am so happy that Bethane and Danielle are ready to take POD printing to the next level,” Ken Whitman stated, “And I am looking forward to a long vacation!”
The buyout represents a decisive step in Rapid POD’s strategy to refocus on the dynamic print-on-demand market and ensure the quality of its customers’ experience. Rapid POD will be returning to full production status September 3rd, 2007.
