[Rave] The Good 3rd Edition Art

I just wrote a post about the art I hate, now I want to point out that a lot of the other stuff is an improvement. (I have to say something nice to balance it out.) :) I have the AD&D 2nd Edition Monstrous Manual here in front of me. These guys I'm listing here are not only much better rendered, but much more interesting to look at.

All the dragons. Period. Ettercap, Genies, Ettin, Formorian giant, Iron golem, Jackalwere, Mind flayer, Mummy, Phoenix, Roper (I guess), Satyr, Sea lion, Shadow, Sirine, Sphinx, Treant, Triton, Umber hulk, Purple worm, Wraith.

We got a great thing goin' here. :)

People with 3.5 books think they are soooooo frickin' coooool.

I hate people with 3.5 books.

I insist that the people who have purchased and are using the 3.5 books are as equal as those who refuse to purchase the 3.5 books. Hating them for it is just antisocial.

Oh, I misunderstood. I didn't read the reference to the Monstrous Compendium. I just assumed you were saying that the 3.5 books had better art than 3.0.

I was surprised to hear that they had re-done the dragon art!
