Reviews losing formatting?

A question for the mods:

I did a review for the DMG using the Review It! feature here on ENWorld.

However, all the bbcode formatting in my review didn't come thru in the review once it posted.

I've noticed a similar problem in other reviewers reviews posted in Review It! Just a stream of run-on text that is horrible on the eyes and makes for poor readability.

What's going on? Is there some trick we need to learn? An error in the programming?

Yeah. It's frustrating, but I'm not skilled enough to fix it. If you edit your review, the formatting will stick.

Basically, the original review software was designed to accommodate comments, not full reviews. We use it for a mix of reviews and comments.
