RGA1 - Daylight Robbery (Salix? Judging)

Flux spends the better part of the morning muttering "Bastards...they're all bastards..." at and about no one in particular - sometimes seeming to refer to her companions, the Resolutes in general, the U.N., the English, and then the people tailing Sergeant's car.

[sblock=OOC]Yes, Flux mutters and rants about their brazen escorts and their complete disregard for security over the course of the evening and morning, to the point where everyone knows about the aforementioned OOC block.[/sblock]

When the tail is pointed out to her, Flux closes her eyes and rubs past the bridge of her nose for a few moments, then turns to Sergeant. "Hey Sarge - why don't we save Mr. Wizard and Play-Do here a whole lot of trouble and throw discretion out the window? Point the car out to me and I can just lift it, and us, out of traffic and over to a more secluded location where we can beat some answers out of the poor bastards assigned to tail us."

"Because, for starters, we were specifically advised not to do things like lifting civilians cars and beating the crap out of their occupants in front of witnesses" says Clay.

"For that, and also, it would be a good thing to let them think we ahvn't spot them. Once they will stop tracking us, we could use them to track them back... that make me thinks." Sergeant takes a small tracer out of his pocket. "Put that on the car, it will be better than the communicator. Martin, take a good look at it, so you'll eb able to scry on it if it goes out of range. There a small coffee over there. I'll go take a coffee and something to eat. Someone want something?"

[sblock=OOC]It just occured to me that her energy field isn't Subtle. So if we're in civilian clothes trying to blend in, she'll leave it off. If we're in uniform, then she'll go ahead and fire it up to be on the safe side, in which case there are some lightning arcs and heat ripples running up and down her body every few seconds.[/sblock]

"Fine. Just thought I'd offer." Flux mutters under her breath some more. "...bastards..."

She turns to Sergeant. "Yeah, here." She takes a final swig from her massive plastic travel mug and hands the remnants to Sergeant, along with a crumpled $5 traveler's check. "Gimme a refill on this. Cappuccino machine if they've got one, otherwise coffee's fine as long as you put plenty of sugar in. Like, fifteen spoonfulls or so."

As he's halfway up out of the car, Flux does a double-take towards him and catches his arm. Sorry, I'm really slow on the uptake this morning. It just occured to me that I could also just use my powers to keep their doors closed and drag their car along behind us, effectively 'driving' it for them. I'd probably destroy their transmission, but I could take them anywhere we want to go, and it would be relatively subtle, aside from the occasional bit of electricity arcing off their windshield. Just thought I'd put that out there."

[sblock=OOC]I finally have internet access at home again, so my replies will be more regular (not that I'm bringing a whole lot to the table so far :))[/sblock]

Paladin arrives at the Auction House to pick up Miss Green a few minutes before One o'clock. "Greetings, milady. How art thou on this fine day?" he asks her. "Where would you care to go for lunch today?" He asks her.

Ms Green is dressed smartly, although perhaps a bit too showy for work. "Ah my brave knight is here." She smiles as Paladin arrives.

"Since you are new in town I will forgive you for not booking us anywhere. There is a nice little place I know in Covent Garden. If you would like to escort me."
She says, offering her arm to the hero.

As the two make the short walk to the restaurant, Ms Green probes for stories about Paladin's life as a resolute and his previous adventures.

OOC-Sorry for my silence, I am waiting for a decision on what the car group are going to do.

ooc: Rystil is out of town (out of the country actually). Looks like Velmont and me favor the first plan, and VioletSamurai would take the direct route.

Sergeant stops the car and get out of it. He is park as the passenger door is in direction of the small coffee. "Martin, make an illusion of Clay and then turn him invisible." He opens the door and walks aroudn his car to enter the coffeee shop. As he pass near the passenger door, he drops the tracer without stoping.

As he walks, he hear the door opening behind him. He continue, not looking back but he is stop by an arm. Flux tell him "Sorry, I'm really slow on the uptake this morning. "Actually, we want them to not be aware we have spotted them. but it's good to know. If things does goes right, it will be a good plan B to make sure we don't lose them. But for now, we stick to teh tracer." answers Sergeant. "Fifteen spoon of suger... do you really like coffee?" Without awaiting teh answer, he continues to the coffee and as he open the door.
