I thought the exact same thing!

Still, if it's done well it could be good. The Riftwar books were interesting, before Midkemia became all "everyone knows or is related to each other, let's all have a big group hug."

And at least with television you won't get annoyed by Feist's addiction to starting every single chapter with "The noun verbed."

It's got a scope that in previous decades I would have thought impossible for television to do justice. Now, they can, and hopefully smooth out some of the rough spots.
