Rini vs. Gorm Twoface (Rini lost, Gorm won)

I can only be on the computer for an hour a day at most, and sometimes I can't get on at all. So if you're going to challenge me, no forcing me to forfeit.

I have a proposition for you mister Gorm Twoface...

OOC: I don't mind if it takes longer, though we should probably limit ourselves to a two flag match. So here's my challenge:

Gorm Twoface
(White Belt (0 : 1), no Yen or possessions)

The ground trembles and a group of peasants hurries past you, clearly afraid of something. One of them turns to you and shouts:

"Run, there's an ogre coming this way!"

But this cowardly advice only makes you want to see more. Soon enough, a terrifying creature comes into view. Man-shaped, but nearly 3 m tall and featuring two heads, this beast is really an abomination of nature.

So far, the giant has not noticed you, for his two heads are quarelling. One of them, covered with a huge mass of tangled hair, seems to be unhappy about something:

"Stoopid Kalanyr thing! Immune to Thunder and Thunder is what I do best."

The second head, bald but with a carefully trimmed goatee - the envy of aspiring villains everywhere - is also not in a good mood:

"Shut up already! If you had ground him into pulp like I told you, there would have been no doubt about the outcome. The real problem is that people don't respect us ogres anymore, like they used to. These self-appointed heroes are simply getting to cocky. Time to remind them...

Hey, what have we got here?"

The ogre has now come so close that you can smell the foul animal hides that cling to his blueish skin. And the monstrosity has finally noticed you:

"Ho, you descendant of half-witted peasants! Get out of my way, before I squish you. Your kind doesn't make a decent meal. I just gnawed some bones from that decrepict graveyard over there and you don't look like you have much more flesh on you.

What's that, you going to fight me? Laughable, you look like you couldn't tell a sword's blade from its hilt!"

I find your grandfather to be boorish, your cemetery to be squandered, and your training to be awful.

So, you had trouble with that brute also?

::Rini shakes off the petty insult about peasants, her grandfather isn't her problem, what graveyard?, and you can't mock training you don't have, this is talent::

You have two heads? They don't seem to add up to much. Your fighting skills need much improvement, and I can see why those peasants were running. You probably need them to till your awful fields. Not only that, you're ugly.

~I find your helper to be uncivilized, your field to be barren, and your battle record to be jaded.~

A lone, dark form walks asross the landscape.

He approaches the fighters. As he grows near - the clouds cover the sun and the very air grows crisp.

He is Soth, Death Knight of the Black Rose.

"I offer my services to you.

I believe that the insults tossed by Gorm Twoface are the more stinging. Although truth be known, both are very weak insults indeed.

In leiu of any formal agreement between the fighters, Gorm may set match length and choose match type."

The ancient masters have decreed this match to take place at the gate south-east of the Spring of Life on the day of the fox.

OOC: This is all dependant on you accepting me as a judge of course. BTW - Rini, Did you have a game related question or just a general question for Wicht?

I would be glad to accept you as a judge MidKnight. I have a game related question, but I think I can only ask Wicht about the specifics. I'll ask you the first part:
What does it take to start your own path?

I also think that Gorm and I had agreed on two flags because I can't come often, but it's up to him now (bleh!)

OOC: MidKnight, you are welcome to judge!

"You don't look like you could last any longer than a 2 flag match."

"Me doubt a single round! Hurhur..."

Gorm doesn't bother with pleasantries like bowing to the opponent. The ogre raises both arms above his head, like a Manticore poised to strike, and charges. But instead of striking at Rini, he tries to kick her in the stomach and send her flying like an oddly shaped football.

But his last defeat seems to have caused some serious paranoia. Unwilling to expose himself to any unexpected powers his enemy might have, Gorm lunges forward and rolls over his right shoulder. The sight of a two-headed creature attempting this maneuver is quite unsettling - why didn't he snap both his necks?!

Gorm rises to his feet, brushing dust off his furs and grinning sheepishly - for once, on both faces.

The manticore kicks in the midst of the groto; dodges the aggression of the comet!

::Rini, also timid, being that this is the first time she's ever fought a two-headed creature, floats above her assailent's heads and lands behind him, hoping to force him to show a weak spot.::

~The chopstick glides over the desert; avoids the assailment of the shield! *yen*~

*BUMP for judgement*

OOC: Rini, maybe update the thread title with a judgement request. I will also post to the judge request thread.

A holy seeming elf flys towards the Knight of the Black Rose.

"I feel the forces of Light should have some say in this match Dark One, therefore if none object I shall judge this round!"

"The Kick of the Manticore is mighty indeed!"
