I meant low magic in relation to normal DnD, where everyone and thier brother is a walking fortune of magic items, just to stay competitive.

Also, the only divine classes are not suited for China, namely the shugena and shaman. The shaman seems more of a near eastern class, like the monkey guys, and teh shujena is a rokugan invention, as far as i can tell.

you think? I think the shaman sounds perfectly suited to a wandering monk, taoist priest or whatever. Shjenga, I agree with.

I dunno.. the shaman just seams too.... shamany. I'm looking forward to the D20 modern conversion that was mentioned. If the spell casters are done like in modern where they are prestige classes, then it will keep magic at the level i'm hoping for. Also, I hope the rebalance the Strong hero, he'll rule a game of melee combat, cause he's meant for a game of ranged combat.

surely that depends on the domains you choose? don't get hung up on the picture, domain choices make the shaman as variable as the cleric.

If you want an "abbreviated" version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Asiapac Books did a 10-volume comic series in trade paperback form. I picked mine up several years ago in Hong Kong, but I've seen them around comic shops before. You could also try their website
