First four paragraphs can be skipped, it is just me explaining what I want to achieve. The last paragraph is me asking for help
______
I quite like the idea of a character with 'just the right tools for the job' so a wizard seems very fun to me. Our group does not have someone with trap finding abilities, so I need to pick a class that dips into that (Though I think the skill points, and starting with more hit die are quite nice).
The way I wanted to progress this character, was give him eidetic spellcaster. Then later pick the Practiced Spellcaster feat to raise my caster level back by that two level dip (I can deal with the lost spells per day).
I was going to use human paragon to make disable device a class skill permanently, so I can fill the rouge roll without becoming a class I dont quite feel like. Then later pick the obtain familiar feat along with improved familiar, and go after an imp (My DM is fine with all this, so long as he knows what's going on)
My plan was to focus more on buffing, but I like to have the ability to use any (arcane) spell, so I cant bring myself to specialise. (Planning on becoming a storm domain wizard for those extra nifty spells)

I have a bit of trouble deciding which will be more beneficial long term. The chance to get +4 AC from wisdom for ninja [we use point buy system] the extra 8 skill points of a rouge, or those spells a beguiler gets.
[Planned class progression 1-20]
