I'm Ray...of Enfeeblement
Night below.

Just because of the group we had at the time, our characters and our DM, (it was a very good adventure also btw).

Those were the days.

Those were the days.

Music & Lyrics: Gene Raskin; performed by Mary Hopkins)

Once upon a time there was a tavern
Where we used to raise a glass or two
Remember how we laughed away the hours
And dreamed of all the great things we would do

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
La la la la...
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days

Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If by chance I'd see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
La la la la...
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days

Just tonight I stood before the tavern
Nothing seemed the way it used to be
In the glass I saw a strange reflection
Was that lonely woman really me

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
La la la la...
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days

Through the door there came familiar laughter
I saw your face and heard you call my name
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
La la la la...
Those were the days, oh yes, those were the days

Hmm, didn't get to play half those adventures mainly because I took a extended D&D break right through 2nd Edition :) Still, there are some good classics there from 1st Ed - I was surprised not to see Rahasia, and I remember that one very fondly when I was younger. Oh, and who could forget the solo adventure in the Red Basic Box Set! :)

I haven't played most of those adventures, since I never played 1e (well, one time at a con, but that doesn't count). Also, your poll is missing Dragon's Crown :)

Rahasia and Dragon's Crown also made it to the first poll, but not quite the second (you can click above to see their votes)

There's probably heavy nostalgia in these sorts of polls - I really just selected the adventures that I played and remembered having an absolute blast with... either as player or DM. A few I heard great things about from people I've gamed with, but never played, so I couldn't say for sure (and therefore didn't select them).

With 190 votes the top ten are:

G1-2-3 Against the Giants
T1-4 Temple of Elemental Evil
B2 Keep on the Borderlands
I6 Ravenloft
D3 Vault of the Drow
T1 Village of Hommlet
D1-2 Descent Into the Depths
S1 Tomb of Horrors
X1 Isle of Dread
S2 White Plume Mountain

The Giants have a strong lead, in contrast to the 1st ed pole, where Raveloft was the leader. The 1st ed AD&D adventures--unsurprisingly--dominate, with B2 being the only exception in the top ten (again, not too surprising). The top 3rd and 2nd edition are both "Returns to", Tomb of Horrors in the case of 2nd edition, Temple of Elemental Evil in the case of 3rd edition.
