Sales Figures for TSR Marvel Superheroes RPG

Hi, all.

I'm wondering if any of you know where I could find sales figures for the TSR-era Marvel Superheroes RPG line. I know those sorts of figures can be hard to come by and that Ben Riggs did some work on finding that information for D&D. I have no idea how to find it on my own, though. :/

Can't help with that, but it would also be interesting to know what sales are like on the modernized retro-clones currently on the market.

FWIW, I checked with a few old industry friends who worked game distribution in the 80s and they couldn't even hazard a guess what TSR's MSH numbers might look like. Too long back for that kind of source, and they wouldn't have known what sales to places like Waldenbooks and B. Daltons would have been like anyway.
