We're looking for one player for our bi-weekly Sunday game in Daly City. We play at 2:00 PM, generally until 8:00 or 8:30 PM. We try to play every two weeks, but the schedule sometimes flexes for the needs of players.
We're currently in the midst of the Age of Worms adventure path. (PCs are 11th level.) Most WotC 3.5 supplements are permitted for character creation, with approval of the DM. Note that this is an Adventure Path game, which effectively translates into "often combat-oriented, and sometimes brutal." We've got an uber-healer as a cohort, and all basic party roles are covered, so PC choice is pretty wide open. (A basic wizard would definitely shine, though, as our arcanists are a warmage and a swashbuckler hybrid.)
We're looking for mature (young's okay and goofy's okay (God knows we're all goofy), but truly immature isn't) players willing to make the game a priority once every two weeks or so. Non-smoking pop-culture-spouting geeks preferred. Off-color humor is dismayingly common. Cats are prevalent, so an allergic player should should Claritin up.
Currently the game is heavy on action, lighter on role-playing, though I personally would like to see more drama and character interaction, so role-players are very welcome. Newish players are also welcome; if you're willing to learn, we'll teach.
