Okay, now that we have a working party, feel free to discuss your player options and plan a strategy if you like. Keep in mind that this is a battle of player wits more than a character smasher, so pure CharOp isn't strictly necessary; but there is some fighting depending on your choices, so tweak if you like.
There are pregens, as I mentioned; they include Human Cleric, Dwarf Knight, Tiefling Bard, Elf Mage, Halfling Thief, and Drow Hunter.
If you'd like to make your own character, you're free to do so; 16th level, no source or option restrictions (yes, this includes setting specific details such as themes or dragonmarks). You have 25,000 GP to spend on equipment as well as a 17th, 16th, and 15th level item (you may take lower level items if you wish).
