I'm trying to get a sense of the distances involved in wandering the Seaquen area in adventure 3, but I'm having very little luck finding anything in the text that explains the distances in the map. The only hint is the boardwalk to reach an island on the north shore. There's only one such island on the map, but it'd be pretty hard to extrapolate a map scale from the tiny distance shown.
What are other people using for the map scale?
On a related note, should Naizelasa's lair really be only six miles out of town? That's close enough for couple of the Lyceum's staff to wander out, slay the dragon, and bring back the carcass in time for lunch. That's not a monster, that's livestock!
