How would you describe the energy link created on a successful hit? Is it easily visible? Is the energy link invisible? Is there an official ruling? Thank you very much all.

I personally wouldn't describe it as anything. The "energy link" is flavor text to me, and I would just go with the mechanical benefit.

I would like that interpretation however my DM because I thought it was like an electrical arc says it creates a visible stream of energy. That makes it easy for the enemies to pinpoint me when I am trying to hide or turn invisible after an attack. I have not had any enemies attempt to turn invisible on me so I guess this current hindrance may become a boon in the future.

I would like an official ruling if possible.
