Session Summery

A Brief overview of what happened last time in no particular order.

Oceaus and Tyrm met with the Governor and talked to him about getting some support for the group. We were told that there would be no support available until the goblin problem could be taken care of and that has been going on for over 1000 years. If we had any ideas speak up and he would look into it and see from there if we can take on the goblins and then we might get some support. Oceaus got an audience with the Baron and talked to him about his son who went missing several years ago near the ruins to the north. Oceaus offered that we might be able to recover the body of the son and the Baron warned him that he would not return if he tried to recover the body. Oceaus and Tyrm have decided that the group might undertake this once we all unite in an attempt to win some support. Oceaus and Tyrm talked with the head priest of the church of Belmay about the visions that we have been having. Tyrm discovered that he actually has celestial blood in him. While this is a shock to him he has yet to figure out how he should react to this discovery. Oceaus and Tyrm met with the apprentice of the mage outside of town (cant remember his name right now) and the Head Priest of the church of Belmay, and talked with him about the Baron's son, the happenings around the world and the visions that both Tyrm and Oceaus have had.

Tormal decided to sleep by himself for a few weeks out in the woods. (much to the relief to everyone staying at the mannor) His posts are before this one and I am sure that you have read them.

Ayla also has her story posted and she continued her training. She also had another dream.

Ceru, Tormal, and Kind spoke with Ceru's druid friend, and a cleric of Lune to see if they had any ideas of how Tormal could bond with the spirit of Wolf.

Ceru and Kind have been helping the refugees set up and work the land of Li's mannor.

That is a brief summery of what happened. And some for something slightly different.

Things that I think that we need to look into doing/completing before we go back to the gnolls.

* See if you can find work for your riverboat friend.

* Look into recovering the body of the Baron's son.

* See if we can help find a solution to the goblin problem.

* Learn what we can about the Necropolis to the north that way if the Gnolls do head that way we can at least know what to expect.

* Possibly see if we can get a few divinations done by the wizard outside of delve.

OOC: Just to add a bit more! :)

The group found themselves united once again in a clearing sometime toward the end of the first month. It was a bright day and Tymr lay resting against a large tree. Out from the tree line came Tormal, Li and Kind. While slightly bewildered by the moment (especially since Tyrm was supposed to be in Delve!) the four found a nearby trail. Somewhere along their short journey they located Ceru @ what appeared to be the manor. During this time Kind had noticed something... different about this forest. Something about more moss on the trees. But everything else seemed to be in order. Tormal found his campsite and when the group found Ceru he was actually at the manor. The only other odd thing was the fact that there was absolutely no one else around! In any case they fearless heroes continued to search for the rest of the group. Noticing a porcipine (SP!?!) crossing the opening Kind began following it. It ran into some nearby bushes and when Kind went to follow he found Ayla. A faint sound of snoring could be heard in the air suprising everyone. Again the group began searching and ran across Oceas sleeping quite loudly atop a sunny hill. They woke him and drug him along as well. SOL continued down the path and stumbled upon the smell of tobacco. Following the smell to it's heart they found an older bearded man sitting atop a large tree stump. Above him was a canopy of branches moss and trees obscuring most of the light. After a rather brash conversation it was found out that this person was a Dreamwalker... something Ceru knew about. The dreamwalker seemed to have an odd point of view on many things but provided some valuable information for SOL. It was also concluded that this was, afterall, a dream probably created by SOL's green dragon friend. As the conversation came to a conclusion barking could be heard in the distance. The group quickly forced themselves awake.... well Oceas had to concentrate a bit but finally prevailed!

Sage was there for part of it, but some of the people around the table were nodding off. :)
Speaking of which, I think we ought to really wrap up the division of the party. It looks like you guys are all done with what you want to try to accomplish in your respective locations.

Pretty much that is it. It was a bit of a long discussion, but everyone skedaddled before the dragondogs showed up.

session summary

Li and lord Tannerson finished up their conversations, resolving that the most support Tannerson could provide the SOL were a few horses. Meanwhile in Delve, Oceas and Tyrm were at the local tavern arguing about how much it would cost to hire mercenaries, when a man approached the two of them. The man had banded mail with a picture of a dragon across the chest. He introduced himself as Pedro Mondragon. He asked Tyrm and Oceas if they were the people planning to go after the gnolls. Pedro is of the Fellows of the Silver Scale, a group with one thing on their minds, destroying evil. Pedro also has a very nice sword, which he refers to as ‘Justice’. Pedro has agreed that the gnolls are evil, and sent message to his fellows so that they could partake in smiting them.

We had a relatively quick and easy trip back to Delve. Then we met back up with the other Seekers and shared our information. We also met Pedro at the tavern we were pleased to hear that we had some form of support.

Pedro informed us that if any of his brethren decided to join us, it would take some time before they could arrive. However, we were all pretty anxious to leave the dreary city, so we told Pedro of the great evil that lurks to the North. We gave him all the information we knew about the situation with the Baron’s son. We all came to the conclusion that there was evil, and that we should try to take care of it.
After a few days we came upon the ruins we were searching for. Large pieces of stone lay scattered about the area as if launched from a distance. We searched around the area while Pedro tried relentlessly to sense any evil. Eventually Tyrm found a small opening between the stone. Tormal and Ceru were feeling a bit ill and decided to stay outside with the horses. Tyrm led the way in, but it wasn’t long before Pedro took over at the front. Kind had provided light for the party as we went underground. we stopped a little ways in at a small room with a bunch of things scattered on the ground. Among the scattered items was a hammer with the symbol of Delve on it. Li decided to stay here and maintain the defense of this room if we needed to come back later. The rest of the group went through a few hallways, and eventually came to one with a series of doors. The doors went down the hall on either side as far as anybody could see. Pedro tried the first door but it was locked. He tried smashing the door a few times, and eventually with Tyrm’s help they got through. In the room, there were two bunks, and two chests. The two chests had a few old garments in them that dissolved at the touch. In each bunk lay a skeleton, tucked gently in its bed. The next ten rooms were very similar. A total of twenty skeletons lay in their beds undisturbed. (Possibly died in the dream world?)
The next room contained two more skeletons, but they were not tucked in. One was in the bed with a spear wound to the skull. The other lay in the middle of the room with a hatchet still embedded in its skull.
The next couple of rooms were completely empty, no furniture or anything.
At the end of the hallway was a large mess hall. The group got a little ways into the hall before Pedro stopped in his tracks. He sensed living evil somewhere below us.
Kind disappeared.
Tyrm started searching around in the area that Kind was standing
Oceas tried to sense any magic in the area as well, but he only picked up on something faint, so he tried to focus more.
Tyrm disappeared.
Pedro, Ayla and Oceas decided to link arms and head for the area where Tyrm and Kind had both vanished.
Pedro disappeared.
Ayla and Oceas walked closer and also disappeared.

Kind was now in a dark cavernous area. He heard the trickle of nearby water. After the rest of the party appeared in the cavern with Kind, we ventured through a corridor leading out of the spacious area. We could faintly hear some kind of voices ahead of them, but none of us were able to recognize what was being said. All we could tell is that it wasn’t nice.
We walked a little further and the sound of the water became louder. There was a path leading off to one side of our corridor, but Pedro sensed evil straight in front of us. We continued on ahead until Tyrm spotted something ahead. He paused and then shot out three magic lights at the darkness. The nasty voices were not far ahead now as we prepared for battle. Kind started casting a spell as Pedro walked forward to edge of the light and waited until he could see his foes. Tyrm let out an incredibly loud noise, and then declared victory. As we moved down the hallway, the light revealed six dead goblins.

Dont forget that Pedro took three hits with Javi's and needs to be healed. Tyrm will ask that Pedro let him heal him. If he allows it Tyrm will use Cure Light Wounds to heal Pedro.

We will be picking up the session just as the last echos of Tyrm's scream fade away. Not quite in combat time, but bad things might happen before you get much done.
