Shadow conjured stinking cloud

What happens if an opponent in a Stinking Cloud emulated by Shadow Conjuration makes his will save? The rules for the illusion spell states that the effects are 20% less, but how do you interpret that for the effects of Stinking Cloud if the victim makes or fails his fort save?

You could cut down the duration to 20%

Also the spell states that if you pass your fort save, you have to make a new one each round your in the cloud. You could say that only 20% of the time you have to make that new fort save.

The bottom of Shadow Conjuration states:
that effect is one-fifth as strong (if applicable) or only 20% likely to occur

So, if they make their initial will save against the Shadow Conjuration, then each round you first make a 20% roll to see if the cloud is effective, and if so they get a Fort save versus the Stinking Cloud effect. Otherwise, no effect.

Wait so then you could shadow conjure the cloud around yourself and then only have to make the fortitude save 20% of the time since you would always know it was partly illusion.

Damn, that's nice.

Great tactic Invader, that's brilliant - seriously. And given the versatility of the shadow spells, an illusionist just became all the more dangerous.
