Shadow Form (Warlock Utility 10) and Insubstantiality

For the shadow form power and other powers that grant insubstantiality, does being insubstantial do anything more than allow you to only take half damage?

Is there any stealth advantage to being insubstantial?

Can an insubstantial creature fit though openings that substantial creatures cannot?

Shadow Form | Warlock (Star) | Utility 10 [from PHB1-p136]
You fly apart into a swarm of bat-like shadows.
Effect: You assume a shadowy form until the end of the encounter or for 5 minutes. In this form you are insubstantial, gain fly 6, and cannot take standard actions.

Insubstantial [from PHB1-p277]
Some creatures, such as wailing ghosts, are insubstantial, and some powers can make you insubstantial. When you are insubstantial, you take half damage from any attack that deals damage to you. Ongoing damage is also halved.

Wailing Ghost Tactics [from MM1-p117]
A wailing ghost uses its phasing ability to emerge from the floor or a nearby wall, surprising its enemies. It uses terrifying shriek against all enemies except the one it is determined to kill. Against its chosen prey, the ghost uses death’s visage and spirit touch. When accosted by multiple foes, the ghost retreats beyond their reach until its terrifying shriek recharges.

Phasing [from PHB1-p286]
Some creatures, such as shadow snakes, have a special ability called phasing, and some powers allow you to phase. When you are phasing, you ignore difficult terrain, and you can move through obstacles and other creatures but must end your movement in an unoccupied space.

No, just half damage. Pretty much for the stuff you're thinking of you'd need phasing.

Not the best match of mechanics to description.

Yeah, older versions had so many colorful ways of not being all there on the prime plane.

Blink
Displacement
Dimension Door
Phase Door
Incorporeality
Etherealness
Astral Spell
and others, etc
